Our multidisciplinary team of professionals brings together experts from various fields to assess and treat the underlying causes of memory and movement disorders. By working collaboratively, we provide comprehensive evaluations and personalized care plans to support both patients and their families.

The Memory Disorder Center at Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute is one of 17 state-designated memory disorder centers authorized by the legislature in the state of Florida and funded by the Department of Elder Affairs. Our center serves as a diagnostic, treatment, and referral source for individuals experiencing changes in their memory other cognitive functions, which may be affecting their daily lives.

The Movement Disorder Center at Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute offers comprehensive medical treatment of Parkinson’s and movement disorders. In addition, we are one of the leading centers in Florida offering Deep Brain Stimulation surgery. We are a leading research center for focused ultrasound in Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative conditions.

Dr. Arif Dalvi is the Medical Director for both centers. Dr. Dalvi is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained specialist in Parkinson’s disease from Columbia University, New York. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, including New England Journal of Medicine, Neurology, Journal of Neurosurgery, and Movement Disorders. His publications include textbook chapters on Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, Alzheimer’s disease, and normal pressure hydrocephalus. With over two decades of research on Parkinson’s disease and memory disorders, he is recognized for his expertise in deep brain stimulation (DBS). He’s been recognized in Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors in America list and as a Hero of Medicine by the Palm Beach County Medical Society in 2018.
